The M40 machine itself is great! Unfortunately, the ABC software it comes with is so rudimentary that Microsoft Paint back in 1997 had more functionality which puts this wonderfully built machine in line with the best CNC machines of the early 80's. Uploading your own logo turns your image into a poor resolution line drawing - forget about any detail you may have had. You want to align multiple lines of text? Nope, you can only align them to the page. Select multiple things at once? Not a chance. They do offer better software but they charge thousands of dollars for something many companies provide to their customers for free. For an over $8,000 machine, I would expect better. I am frequently using my $450 DIY CNC machine to make more intricate engravings. Not only does my $450 machine cost much less, it also allows me to upload vector images to be engraved on FREE software, has a larger working area, and I can switch the head to a 15W laser. The worst part about it is that every time I have called to troubleshoot a problem such as why my vector images are uploaded as 50 dpi images, the support team can never figure out how to change that. Furthermore, I have been told on more than 3 occasions that I would have to wait until their headquarters in France got back from vacation to get a final solution. It has been over a year and have yet to hear back from them.

I have not received the engraver. They said it would take 12 to 16 weeks
